When are you going to post about the massive deflection on RICAS scores? Even the great Dan McGowan - "Sowams Elementary in Barrington with 70% ELA score".. so besides the obvious about the FRL % of Barrington schools, here is the GENDER breakdown of Sowams:
Female ELA - 83% !!
Male ELA - 53%
that's a 30% difference in ELA proficiency in the highest scoring school -- I suppose the gap is *smaller* in urban schools simply because the OVERALL proficiency is so low -- but when is the Commissioner or Gov going to talk about boys and reading???
